Entirely self-taught, he held his first solo exhibition in his native Quito, solidifying his passion for art and prompting him to pursue it as a lifelong career. Recognizing the importance of exposure to major art museums, Gardani believes in learning from the higher expressions of art found in these institutions.

Known for his classic-realism style paintings executed in oils, Gardani has recently gained acclaim for his vibrant pop art creations.
