Gardani is a contemporary American artist, born in Quito, Ecuador, and currently based in Miami, Florida. Drawn to the world of art from a young age, Gardani began experimenting with various techniques and materials in his paintings and sculptures. Entirely self-taught, he held his first solo exhibition in his native Quito, solidifying his passion for art and prompting him to pursue it as a lifelong career. Recognizing the importance of exposure to major art museums, Gardani believes in learning from the higher expressions of art found in these institutions.

Known for his classic-realism style paintings executed in oils, Gardani has recently gained acclaim for his vibrant pop art creations. Incorporating a wide range of media, including printmaking, collage, and spray paint, he infuses his works with memorable flashes of color and imagery. While he remains true to his roots in magic realism, which he has practiced for over three decades, Gardani draws inspiration from a diverse array of artistic masters, including Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and Joan Mitchell.

Gardani's artwork has been exhibited in galleries across the United States, Central and South America, Europe, and Asia, attracting a global audience of collectors. As a Latino artist of Spanish heritage, Gardani's paintings reflect a blend of techniques from contemporary masters like Salvador Dali and Caravaggio, infused with the vibrant colors and cultural influences he has experienced throughout his life. This unique blend of influences has imbued Gardani's art with a richness and depth that celebrates life and its myriad expressions.
