Glossy finish

Les œuvres de Gabriel sont une invitation à voyager dans des mondes où se rencontrent la poésie, la spiritualité, le fantastique et l'onirisme.
Dès son plus jeune âge, une affinité particulière pour les arts plastiques le destinait à cette voie. Artiste autodidacte, Gabriel a entamé son parcours pictural en 2011, répondant à un besoin viscéral d'expression suite à un événement personnel. Depuis, la peinture est devenue le canal privilégié pour traduire et partager ses émotions. Il a patiemment élaboré son style distinctif, une véritable empreinte artistique qui le guide vers la création d'univers oniriques, qu'il bâtit toile après toile.
Le processus créatif de Gabriel est un dialogue constant avec la matière. Il travaille principalement à l'acrylique et à l'acrylique iridescente, et donne de la profondeur à ses compositions grâce à la pâte de structure (modeling paste). Une de ses signatures réside dans l'intégration du carton, qu'il sculpte et applique à la pâte, permettant à ce relief de s'intégrer harmonieusement à l'œuvre finale. Ses créations sont la manifestation concrète de son intériorité, un entrelacs de pensées et d'émotions qui prennent forme dans un jeu de couleurs vives et de reliefs palpables. Chaque tableau est le fruit d'un cheminement instinctif et réfléchi. Gabriel accorde une importance particulière au recul, un temps nécessaire pour visualiser les figures et leurs reliefs. C'est à ce moment précis que les contrastes se révèlent, permettant à ses œuvres de véritablement prendre vie.
