Gabriel est né en 1980. Après une formation en infographie - multimédia et communication à l'Université Paris 8 et de Paysage à Angers, il collabore avec plusieurs maisons d'éditions à Paris et Lille et agences de design à Bordeaux. Parallèlement à une activité de chef de projet digital il expose à l'Ours Marin, ancien bar LGBT à Bordeaux, et au Petit Bain à Paris dans le cadre du 8ème Dimanche rouge (septembre 2011). En avril 2022 il expose une sélection de dessins de son projet "Je dessine des garçons" sur le stand de la Galerie VO lors de la Foire à la Brocante et Antiquités de Bordeaux.

"Je dessine des garçons" est le projet que j'ai entamé depuis décembre 2021. Mes créations y allient simplicité formelle et expressivité brute renouvellant la pensée Pop-Art des années 1970 teintée d'un réalisme contemporain.

Dessiner la diversité de l'Homme :
J'ai fait le choix de représenter du nu masculin pour plusieurs raisons, je suis gay et j'avais envie detravailler sur un sujet qui m'inspire : le corps de l'homme. Le travail autour de l'acceptation de ladifférence et notamment de la variété des corps me touche particulièrement : tous les corps nus sontbeaux.

La banalité érotique ou l'érotisme banal :
Je vois de la beauté dans les poses simples, l'érotisme ne doit pas être une performance, la pornographie n'est pas la norme.
J'aime dessiner les poses frontales et brutes, l'homme érotisé dans sa façon d'habiter son corps.

Ma sélection d'hommes nus :
Ma sélection de dessins s'oriente naturellement autour de cette diversité des poses, et techniques. Dudessin traditionnel à la création digitale.
