It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

I chose to cover his clothes with newspaper clippings of words we usually associate with migrants, because they are part of the terminology used in the public discourse around Italian immigration policy by politicians and the media in their propaganda.
All these words - we hear, read, and speak daily - mediate abstract concepts that deviate our attention from realizing we are deciding for real people's lives, with real problems, hopes, and dreams. They are of flesh and blood as ourselves. When we consider them like an "issue" and a "crisis" to prevent, we miss the point.
No law can justify leaving them alone, without shelter and assistance. They are here to remain and they are going to continue to come. That's a fact.

I am a professional figurative artist specializing in portraits only since 2021. I have no formal academic education, although my artistic education began at an early age at home with my grandmother who was a painter.
My art lies in the trauma, the silent suffering and the anger of those who have never been heard.
