C’est en pleine rupture avec son milieu professionnel que
Frédéric LAUGIER commence à peindre. D’abord figurative,
sa peinture s’attache à mettre en lumière les paysages qui
l’entourent. Rapidement le figuratif laisse place au geste, à
la spontanéité, à l’abstraction, des couleurs flamboyantes
s’épanouissent sur des formats de plus en plus grands.
L’artiste se libère, juste retour aux sources pour celui qui a
baigné dans une famille d’artiste (fils du sculpteur BEPPO,
petit fils d’une des dernières disciples de Matisse). Sensible,
généreux et curieux, Frédéric expérimente, tâtonne en dehors
de toute école, de tout dogme.
In a rift with his workplace that
Frederic Laugier began painting. First figurative
his painting endeavors to highlight the landscapes
surround. Quickly gives way to the figurative gesture,
spontaneity, abstraction, flamboyant colors
bloom on formats larger and larger.
The artist is free, just back to basics for anyone who
bathed in a family of artists (son of the sculptor Beppo,

of any school of any faith.
