C'est ma rencontre avec des artistes du Toulois qui m'a permis de peindre et d'exposer depuis 1997. Peintre figuratif, j'évolue vers le figuratif moderne et l'abstraction. Je peins souvent par série, j'ai besoin de faire plusieurs tableaux pour exprimer le ressenti du moment et ensuite, partir vers d'autres inspirations, couleurs techniques et émotions. Mère nature est ma source d'inspiration, dans mon jardin, au cours de mes voyages, les formes, les couleurs m'attirent l'œil. Je fige l'instant présent en photo que je revisite dans mon atelier. Je prépare certaines toiles avec des empreintes, j'utilise des empâtements, des collages et pochoirs..., je fais souvent un premier jet de peinture acrylique pour prendre l'ambiance du tableau mais je travaille principalement à la peinture à l'huile qui reste mon médium préféré.
