What They Made of Me is a deeply symbolic artwork that explores the psychological rupture between self-perception and societal expectations.

A raw egg — soft, fragile, almost divine — sits cracked on the forehead of the central figure, leaking its golden core like a truth too vulnerable to hold. The face is fractured, as if the emotional weight of “being seen” has splintered identity itself.

Surrounding the subject, distorted words like MASK, ME, EXPECTATION, and BEAUTY orbit in soft motion, representing the subconscious forces that shape and deform our self-image. The swirling blue and ochre background evokes the instability of the inner world — fluid, unpredictable, beautiful, and terrifying all at once.

This work invites the viewer into a confrontation with their own social masks and hidden wounds. Created through the Hueb Approach — an artistic method based on Jungian symbolism and neuroaesthetic triggers — the image delivers immediate visual impact while awakening unconscious reflection.

Perfect for collectors of surreal, psychological, and emotionally charged contemporary art.

Felipe Hueb is a Brazilian Visual Artist and photographer certified by the New York Institute of Photography. He was raised by a family of artists and musicians and has always been fascinated by classical art. At the age of 18 he began to photograph just for Hobby. At the age of 28, he left his career as an electrical engineer in a multinational company and decided to dedicate himself only to photography. It was quite an adventure.

He started by photographing boudoir and artistic nude essays. He photographed tirelessly due to his passion for his work. At the same time, he improved his techniques and entered photographic contests. After a year of working as a professional photographer, he got 3 honorable mentions, one from the Moscow International Foto Awards and two from the Monochrome Contest Awards in the Fine Art and Art Nude categories.

His art always seeks to impress the viewer. Felipe uses techniques to give more movement and mystery to photography. The goal is to freeze the emotion of the moment and impress the viewer in some way. Felipe has also provided photography and video services to large companies abroad, such as British American Tobacco in Cuba, the Embassy of Portugal in Brazil, and large Panamanian companies. He has also published 2 books: The Art of Photography and The Portugal Embassy in Brazil. He currently lives in Brasília making new art daily.
