Hello hello! My name is Fab (yes like FABULOUS!) I’m a Venezuelan Artist currently based in Orlando, Fl. I’ve been experimenting with resin and other mediums for a couple of years now, and I can definitely say that one of the things I love the most about what I do is that it teaches me to let go. We can’t control art, specially when you experiment with resin, you just gotta let it flow and do it’s own thing; I’m only in control of the emotion and passion I put onto my work, the rest just comes with patience and being able to turn a ‘mistake’ into something beautiful.
To me, the process of finding the medium that suits me best was a bit challenging, because at first I thought I had to be ‘different’ and create something majestic when in reality, art is a form of expression and I was forgetting the most important thing which is express. Don’t get me wrong I’m still a work in progress and I’m still experimenting with my art and each time I discover something different; I’m constantly creating new things, but I’ve learned that with this medium I can forget about the rest of the world and actually pour all my thoughts and emotions on my art. Basically I can freely express myself with my craft, and I love it! I just hope you guys can enjoy it as much as I do!
