I was born in the middle of the sixties, in 1965. As a child, I was attracted to science, especially mathematics and also to drawing and color. While continuing my scientific studies, I became more and more interested in all areas of creation, especially painting, literature, photography, music and the possibility of transmitting emotions through these various modes of expression. Alongside my career as a computer engineer and then a teacher, I took my first steps on the path of creation from the 90s.
Like many beginners, I started by trying to reproduce certain paintings or by drawing portraits from photographs. You can also find these first creations on my old site. It was also around this time that I started writing a few short stories, more in the detective or fantasy genre. I started photography in 1994 by buying with my brother our very first SLR camera which was film at the time. It was also a good way to learn because we had less room for error than we do now given the cost of development.
My first exhibition was in 2001 as part of "Artistes dans la rue" in Versailles. At that time, I only exhibited photographs. I continued to exhibit regularly, working on other forms of expression such as painting, sculpture or mixed techniques. From 2010, I turned to other forms of expression such as illustration, writing, video as well as music through singing and instrumental practice (although I did not have a real predisposition in this area...)
In my artistic career, I gradually developed a style on the border between dream and reality, in works that are sometimes poetic, offbeat, surrealist or tinged with humor. By playing on composition, light, and colors, I seek to bring out a certain harmony, a dynamic, an energy that is specific to providing emotions and stimulating the viewer's imagination. It is in this direction that my more recent work around abstract painting and macrophotography is based.
