En utilisant le robot industriel comme figure centrale, elle interroge sur la technique, l’outil et le monde animal et souligne les dynamiques complexes qu’entretiennent la société de consommation et l’écosystème naturel.
À travers des compositions visuelles saisissantes, elle invite le spectateur à réfléchir sur les conséquences de nos actions sur le monde qui nous entoure et sur le dilemme moral et existentiel auquel nous sommes confrontés dans notre relation avec la technologie et la nature. Cette série explore les thèmes complexes de la transformation, de l'hybridation et de l'interconnectivité. Chaque œuvre offre une méditation profonde sur les dynamiques émergentes entre l'homme, la machine et la nature, offrant une réflexion profonde sur notre place dans un monde en constante évolution.
Chaque sculpture, imposante par sa taille, mesure environ 170 cm de hauteur et 125 cm de longueur, et se compose d'un bras de robot industriel sculpté dans du bois noble, lui-même méticuleusement recouvert de feuilles d'or. Ce choix de matériaux évoque la vénération de l'outil technique à travers l'histoire, tandis que la feuille d'or renvoie à des connotations à la fois sacrées et consuméristes.
Au bout de chaque bras mécanique se trouve une tête d'un animal dominant la chaîne alimentaire, façonnée en organdi – un tissu qui, par sa translucidité et sa finesse, contraste fortement avec la robustesse et l'éclat du bras métallique. Ces têtes animales, figées dans un cri silencieux, expriment à la fois la majesté de la faune et sa vulnérabilité face à l'avancée implacable de la technologie.
