During my childhood, I practiced drawing a lot. I won a first prize in middle school. However, I abandoned pencils for elite sports (ski jumping and cross-country skiing), which I practiced until 1992. I trained at the same time as a sales employee, then from 1998 as a professional actor. I performed in Switzerland, France, and Spain for more than 10 years, then resumed pictorial creation at the end of 2009.
I explored pastels, pencils, collage, and acrylics. After two years of experimentation, I settled on acrylics. I am mainly inspired by Gerhard Richter. I exhibited for the first time in a gallery at the end of 2012.
In 2015 I joined an artist collective, Riv'ARt, with whom we exhibit regularly.
Between 2016 and 2019 I developed 3 very distinct creative techniques. My inspirations tend towards the Franco-Chinese Zao Wu-Ki, Chu Teh Chun, Wang Yan Chen.
In 2019 and 2020, I trained with two artists from my region in figurative oil painting, as well as pigments/tempera. After a period in oil, I create only in tempera. I produce my own mineral pigments, and build my wooden frames to the desired dimensions.
After more than 2 years creating in tempera, I am investigating the field of abstract/semi-abstract creation in oil.
Currently, more than 180 of my works live their lives in private and public collections in Switzerland, France, Belgium, Poland, Australia, Canada and Mexico.
