Many people came to my shores to pour out their souls
I pitied them, listened to their heavy odes,
And their big tears fell into my blue waters.
They filled me up, I was getting bigger from all these other people's wounds,
And so I was born - the Pacific Ocean.
When I was ten, I drew pictures with my own currents.
Thousands of shades of blue, creating an impression,
It's like the night sky is inside me, not water,
Full of stars and light, in which somewhere,
Tearing the canvas with its nose a killer whale emerges,
Rubbing and washing away my paint, without a trace.
I don't think these paintings would be masterpieces.
Many before me were more talented and bold,
Well, I was just quiet, and so
Like hundreds of poets, I wrote down my thoughts.
He wrote mostly prose, books for various " enlightened people",
One of these books by the way is called "Pacific Ocean".
I never dreamed of becoming the biggest water,
I just always wanted to live my life that way,
Which you don't want to change for mud in the swamps,
Always remaining clean and transparent in its deep waters.
And I was so afraid of getting muddy that I went into fantasy,
In order not to slurp dirt from other people's drains.
And in my streams, I was always alone, well, there was a little bit of God with me,
He was probably the only dilution of my monologue.
He never said anything specific, but only showed it,
On the way my waves break on the rocks, and it connected
With my words born in the back of my mind
And leading me to this moment, to my current state.
And when people called me the biggest ocean in the world,
I was very surprised, because I am so quiet, and there are probably wider oceans.
But God then told me one phrase, in a lonely voice.
"You know, to become the world's largest ocean, you don't need to be loud"
———
Aleksha Novich inspired me with his song to write a picture.
You could even say that I illustrated his piece of music.
The work is done in two colors: white and gray peyna.
Color - Peyna gray in its dense form looks like a mixture of black and blue.
Very rich and deep color. Until I got to know this color, my favorite color was black.
This color turned out to be much deeper, it looks like the night sky.
Diluting the paint with solvent* I saw that the color of the paint is similar to ocean water.. amazing comparison.
Pacific Ocean color oil paint.
Everything is much more interesting than it seems at first glance.
* Solvent makes the paint transparent, much like the interaction of water and watercolor.
—————
I used a solvent when working, therefore there is no glossy sheen, the work turned out with a matte finish and a semi-glossy effect, but it is very light!
The depth of work is fantastic!
The painting is painted in oil on special oil paper. The paper completely repeats the structure of the canvas. The density of the paper is 400g/m2.
The painting is covered with a special protective matte varnish. The varnish protects the painting from dust, dirt, from fading of colors and from fading in the sun - all this prolongs the life of the painting.
I use only professional art materials. They are safe for your health, so you can hang them at home with full confidence.
The painting is named and signed on the front and back, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. This is indisputable proof of the authenticity of the original artwork.
I love every piece of my artwork and I do everything as carefully and reverently as possible.
The picture will be packed in safe packaging, unfolding the protective layer. You will see a beautiful packaging design from the artist.
You'll be pleased to unpack it, and you can stop worrying about packaging a picture as a gift. It’s all ready and it looks beautiful.
The package will include full care instructions for the painting and frame.
Once I have all the necessary documents, the painting will be ready for shipment.
If you have any further questions about the painting, please ask.
