Souvent construits avec des graffiti récupérés ici et là dans toute cette région du nord ouest du pays. Ou tout autre symbole typique de la culutre locale. Ici, dans ce pays aux montagnes [...]
Voici un des exemples de photo-collages que je pratique depuis toujours Celui-ci fait partie de la série des "10 ans d'un journal-photo" que j'ai passés en Argentine. Souvent construits avec des graffiti récupérés ici et là dans toute cette région du nord ouest du pays. Ou tout autre symbole typique de la culutre locale. Ici, dans ce pays aux montagnes impressionnantes, les Andes, le mythe du Gauchito Gil, vrai héros national à l'image d'un Robin des Bois argentin, vénéré du nord au sud jusqu'aux frontières brésiliennes.

Born in France. Bachelor's degree in sociology - University of Paris X - Nanterre.
Evelyne Chevallier worked for 20 years in the world of photography as a producer, head of photo department, project manager, journalist, iconographer. In 2010, during a trip to northern Argentina, she decided to settle there for a few years. Facing the Andes, it was the fascination for such a powerful nature, the recurring solitude of this life in the desert, and the discovery of these "graffiti" words that encouraged her to find an escape: digital photocollage. A work - passion that has become permanent and that began in Argentina, Uruguay, Chile and Bolivia has followed its path in France, New York, Montreal and Madrid to this day.
