D'aussi loin que je me souvienne c'est la couleur qui m'a attirée :" puisque tu vois plus mal que les autres il faut regarder mieux", disait mon maitre.
Des rencontres d'artistes, des cours du soir, tout un parcours acharné et vital pour apprendre encore, comprendre, étudier les maîtres.
Et puis enfin faire passer dans la peinture ces milliers d'instants de vie, ces regards échangés, ces silhouettes aperçues, ces lumières fugitives à travers les arbres, ces éclairages particuliers qui transfigurent un paysage connu .
Ma peinture est ma vie, ma vie nourrit ma peinture, les deux sont indissociables.

La nature est ma première source d'inspiration : je vis dans le Bugey, une région encore préservée du Jura Sud où je peux parcourir les montagnes, les forêts et profiter de ses lacs et rivières en toutes saisons .

Je rejoins aussi ma ville natale : Lyon, pour des contacts et des activités culturelles : expositions, concerts ... Régulièrement des échappées vers l'Atlantique ou la Méditerranée élargissent et renouvellent mes sources de paysage .
