Still life with lemons (2009) Painting by Eva Ban Gophen

I was burn in Hungary as daughter of a famous hungarian painter.
As a very young child I participated in evening drawing school in Hungary.
Later in Buenos Aires; Argentina, I continued the painting studies.
I moved with my family to Israel, married and I have four children.
All the years I worked as a nurse, and didn't have much time to paint, alltough
I was alleays interested in painting.
During the last years it became a serious issue in my life.
I paint mostly in realistic style reflecting my view of the surrounding; the nature,
persons and everyday life.
During the last six years i partcipated in several important group exhibitions.
