Eva Khatchadourian is a young artist from the Paris region, whose work explores the complex relationship between physical and intangible spaces. Her academic background includes the seminar "Experience and Thought of Spatiality," which deeply influenced her approach to questioning how we interact with architecture and spatial environments. After earning her DNSEP from the École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Nîmes, she became integrated into the Parisian art scene.

Khatchadourian's primarily pictorial practice engages with two central themes: the development of motifs and their symbolic significance, and the use of collage and layering to explore spatial composition and architectural dimensions. Her approach involves mental collages and superpositions of motifs, invoking a scenographic and narrative aspect in her work. This dynamic allows her to blend language, storytelling, and pictorial syntax, resulting in poetic and hybrid compositions.

Her pieces often migrate into the exhibition space, taking on sculptural forms of various scales. These works can range from grounded and stable to unbalanced and levitating, evoking a dreamlike atmosphere. She combines ancestral imagery with contemporary architecture and desert-like atmospheres, using bright color fields and soft "sfumato" techniques to create spatial depth. In Khatchadourian's art, mental and social spaces merge, offering enigmatic visions that reflect shared human experiences.
