Witam!
Nazywam się Eugeniusz Nadtoczaj. Zaczynałem jako ceramik. Od jakiegoś czasu ilustrowałem książki dla dzieci. Studiowałem kulturoznawstwo, w szczególności twórczość ludową, etnografię, folklorem. Ale większość czasu poświęcono na animację. Wiele lat pracowałem w animacją, był artystą, scenografem, animatorem. Nawet reżyserem filmów animowanych na różnych studiach. Teraz odszedł od poprzednich spraw i wrócił do tego, od czego zaczął - do grafiki. Eksperymentowałem z różnymi materiałami, na przykład interesowałem się freskiem i grafiką wolumetryczną na tekturze. Projektowałem i szyłem garnitury i ubrania. A także tworzyłem lalki-marionetki. Użyłem różnych materiałów i eksperymentowałem z ich kombinacjami. Użyłem naturalnych barwników, sam je przygotowałem, a także materiały są pochodzenia naturalnego: liście drzew, ptasie pióra, kora, kwiaty, kamienie i piasek, i tak dalej. Pociągała mnie ich naturalna faktura i kolor.
Jeden cykl takich eksperymentów, przestrzenna grafika na kartonie, jest obecnie przechowywany w muzeum przy ulicy Foksal 11 w Warszawie.
Obecnie mieszkam w Gdańsku.
