Je me souviens avec tendresse que dès l’âge de quatre ans, crayon à la main, j’ai griffonné quelques portraits avant d’attaquer plus tard les pavés de la cour de notre ferme en utilisant les pots de peinture de mon père que je pillais dans son atelier. Les avertissements reçus n’étaient pas suffisants pour stopper la nécessité de m’exprimer.
Parallèlement à mon activité professionnelle, je n’ai jamais cessé de pratiquer ma passion pour la peinture, faisant parfois des peintures pour mon propre plaisir, parfois sous forme de commandes de clients attirés par mon style atypique. J’ai aussi eu la chance de participer à plusieurs expositions dans ma ville natale, à Nancy, à Paris et une fois à New York.

I remember with tender emotions that from the age of four, pencil in hand, I scribbled a few portraits before later attacking the tiles of our farmhouse paving using my father's pots of paint that I was pilfering in his workshop. The admonitions received were not enough to suppress the need to express myself.
In parallel to my professional activity I have never stopped practicing my passion for painting, sometimes making paintings for my own pleasure, sometimes as orders from customers attracted by my atypical style. I had also the encouragement of participating in several exhibitions in my hometown, in Nancy, in Paris, and once in New York."
