Pour mes tableaux, une technique mixte, avec une base de pigments pour céramique, sur papier aquarelle marouflé sur bois. Je réalise aussi mes encadrements.
Je suis ce que l'on appelle un artiste autodidacte. Après avoir travaillé durant quinze ans dans les domaines des arts graphiques et de la communication d'entreprise, je me suis tout naturellement orienté vers la peinture et seul un travail obstiné, suscité par une certaine idée de l'esthétique et la recherche de l'originalité, m'anime.
Artiste peintre professionnel membre de la Maison des Artistes, j'ai consacré plusieurs années de ma vie à un art pictural plutôt traditionnel. Finalement, l'ennui pointant le bout de son nez, j'ai cherché à explorer d'autres techniques à partir de produits nouveaux pour la manifestation d'une création différente en harmonie avec mes envies d'artiste et ainsi, faire émerger le style qui est aujourd'hui le mien.
La base de mon travail est avant tout LA COULEUR. Sans prétention aucune, j'ai simplement besoin d'en donner et d'en recevoir, une façon pour moi de me libérer des horreurs d'un monde trop souvent brutal pour ainsi embellir mon quotidien et, je l'espère, celui de la personne qui regarde mon travail.
Ma peinture est principalement figurative, un travail de l'imaginaire qui met en scène l’humain, le couple et l'amour, réinvente Venise et l'Afrique, ou traverse l'espace d'un instant, un univers mystique ou fantastique.
Aujourd’hui, ma technique n'est plus l'huile ni l'acrylique, mais plutôt le mélange de différents pigments pour céramique que je travaille au tampon, par écrasement de la peinture en couches superposées, sur toile ou sur papier marouflé sur bois. Avec cette technique peu habituelle et l'utilisation de ces produits, j'obtiens enfin cette palette généreuse aux couleurs puissantes et aux luminosités éclatantes longtemps recherchées.
Descendant d’une famille d’artistes, je suis installé dans le sud de la France, au cœur des Cévennes sur la commune d’Alès.
