It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Natif de Lorraine, après Menton, Paris et Chartres, aujourd'hui Breton, aussi loin que je me souvienne j'ai toujours dessiné.
Après 5 ans aux Beaux-arts à Paris et aux Ateliers du soir de la Ville de Paris, j'ai commencé ma longue quête de la grandeur en peinture dans la suite de Picasso pour la reconfiguration des formes, de Matisse pour la couleur et de Modigliani pour la ligne... sans imiter, ni plagier!
J'ai finalement abouti au-delà de mes espoirs mais, pour des raisons qui m'appartiennent, j'ai gardé par devers moi mes réalisations en vue de projets ultérieurs...
D'autant que, l'été dernier j'ai connu un renouvellement d'inspirations si puissant que, ne pouvant faire face à une telle profusion d'idées, j'ai dû quitter pinceaux et toiles pour le pastel sec, plus léger, rapide et pratique que la peinture à l'huile si contraignante... Mais quelle moisson que je présenterai ici au fil des jours.
Moi, Eric Fiorin, désormais pastelliste protéiforme, à pieds, à vélo, en voiture, en train ou par le biais de photos, documentaires voire de films, je voyage dans l'histoire de l'art européen de la préhistoire à nos jours, dans notre espace, et notre civilisation passée & présente et entends bien me confronter à la Création et aux divers créateurs de notre culture, rendre hommage à ceux et ce que j'admire avec originalité et surtout, je l'espère, avec une grâce percutante...
