The artist, born in Ankara in 1938, has worked with renowned artists for many years and had the opportunity to get to know world art closely during trips to various cities in Europe with the Air Force Dance and Jazz Orchestra, where he served as a musician. Having a large-sized portrait of Atatürk wrapped at Anıtkabir in the 1990s, the artist continues his works on Mevlana and Whirling Dervishes. He has held 14 solo exhibitions and participated in exhibitions in capitals such as Paris and Moscow. Erdoğan Seçil is a member of the UNESCO Turkey National Committee and the International Plastic Arts Association.
