Enrique Etievan was born in 1972, and at the age of 16 decided to become a visual artist. This vocation was no stranger to him, as his family has always had a deep connection with painting and art.

From the vert start of hi statistic career, Enrique's fundamental aim was to convey and share a positive message through his work, capturing the everyday images of his environment and times.

To achieve this goal, he understood that technical mastery was essential. So, for over 30 years, he dedicated himself to learning and practicing the various techniques of classical art.

In 2015, Enrique left his native Venezuela to start a new life in France. This change of location has profoundly influenced his art, enriching it with new perspectives, new cultures and new stories.

Today, Enrique has embarked on a new series of works that focus on women as subjects of investigation. Through his creations, he explores the strength, psychology and tole of women in contemporary society. His aim is to create a new universal icon, a representation of our way of life in a big city, in which everyone can recognise themselves.
