Zorica Mrdaković-Champs est née en Ex-Yougoslavie. Après des études fructueuses dans son pays, elle voyage en Allemagne puis en Angleterre pour y suivre des études en Langues (elle en maîtrise aujourd'hui cinq). Après son mariage, elle s’installe en France en 1971 et obtient la nationalité française. Elle s’intéresse à l’abstrait qu’elle pratique et expose avec succès dans le 16e arrondissement à Paris.
Elle s’initie peu à peu au figuratif qu’elle personnalise à son gré par des teintes douces et des couleurs estompées.
