Il fallait réalisé l’œuvre en 4 heures. Le thème était Mandela et le combat pour la Paix.
Elle a ensuite été exposée dans différents lieux de la ville pendant trois ans. Lorsque j'ai pu la récupérer en septembre 2017, je l'ai finalisé.

Dans la fin des années 80, j'ai, pour la première fois, quitté le grand sud et la région de Perpignan pour émigrer dans le Boulonnais. C'est à cette époque que j'ai embrassé la carrière d'enseignant.
Installé à Boulogne sur mer pendant quelques années, j'ai pu profiter de l'école municipale des beaux arts de cette charmante commune du Pas de Calais. A l'époque, cette école était dirigée par Jacques (je crois ...) Salvignol. J'assistais à des ateliers du soir pour adultes qui étaient animés par le directeur de l'époque et Michel Dahlenne l'actuel directeur de la maison.
Ces deux excellents professeurs m'ont initié à l'acrylique sur de grandes feuilles de papier.
Ma technique était "gestuelle" peut-être inspirée par "l'abstraction lyrique", sur les traces de Mathieu (en photo ci-contre), célèbre peintre natif de Boulogne sur mer. Les grands formats permettaient une expression dynamique. Les couleurs utilisées et l'utilisation de craies, de pastels et de fusains, donnent aux oeuvres réalisées un aspect vif et profond. L'ensemble laisse une impression de mouvement éclatant.
