In 2012, Moinhos's talent shone brightly at the Invent'arte Drawing Salon in Odivelas, where he secured the 1st Prize. His artistic acumen was further highlighted when two of his works were selected for the XII Exhibition 2012 at the Museu da Marinha in Lisbon, focusing on the theme of the sea and maritime motifs.
Beyond the borders of Portugal, Moinhos's contributions to the art world were acknowledged internationally. He was invited to participate in a painting exhibition and auction commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Portuguese Red Cross, demonstrating not only his artistic prowess but also his commitment to social causes.
