Véronique Gerard
Véronique was born in 1963 in Paris. His first photo was taken in 1992, of a donkey in a field. As attracted by shooting as by prints, the darkroom divulges its secrets to her and immersed in its baths, she spends weekends perfecting her skills.
In 2002, she decided to become a professional and created EnVisages Photographie. In 2005, she was selected during a competition and obtained a publication in the magazine Miroir de l'Art on the theme: “Representation of women”.
Also passionate about painting, a marriage with photography inspires her. When it was first drafted, more than 10 years ago, this work aroused keen interest among image professionals in Arles (galleries and publishers), they encouraged her to continue along this path.
In 2014, his theme was found and is called “Regards d’émoi”. His looks are like a sort of absolute of the face, an invitation closer to the soul to challenge the one who looks. Hosted in totemic civilizations or science fiction universes, these views speak of the aspect of being. They are on the border of the skin (modeled by stigmata, masks, totems, tribal representations) and interior energies and vibrations.
