Véronique Pinault is a contemporary French painter and sculptor. Pinault's paintings, which are influenced by art brut, depict charming characters with multiple and flamboyant shapes who become the messengers of her mini-stories. Her compositions are punctuated with lines, dots, and circles.
The scissors sculptures of Véronique Pinault give a contemporary perspective to the famous ready-made. This tool finds with her, a new form of nobility and strongly inspires her imagination. In parallel with the unique creation of scissors, she creates piggy banks, from casts. She is clearly enamored with their little round shape, and she enjoys manipulating them to display a really personal variant.
