This story was inspired by various pictures and stories from the Internet. I just wanted to make some pictures about Japanese samurai. I've been looking for a plot for a very long time, but I can't think of what to portray. For a week I searched for information and tried to find a song. And then one morning I wake up and I see this composition in front of my eyes. Since I only draw in my spare time from work and it was already time for me to leave, I quickly grab a pencil and start sketching, so as not to forget the idea. I make a few strokes of paint to understand what colors the picture will be in and go to work. In the evening, I already began to thoroughly study the picture. For 9 evenings and two weekends, I wrote this work. At first, he made broad strokes and gradually moved to smaller ones. Work is reminiscent of sculpting. Because first there was a solid white background, then a large red detail, on top of the red-black, and so on. In general, I am very happy with the work. I drew a samurai who looks like a dragon: armor with scales, a red horned mask, and fur. A katana with a red braid symbolizes the fire that bursts out of the dragon's mouth and strikes everyone. In the background, the silhouette of a dragon as if it is the spirit of war. Depicted clouds and fog, which is part of the dragons. Well, the red sun is a symbol of Japan. In general, a very cool job. I'm just glad that I wrote it, otherwise no one would have seen it.

My paternal great-grandfather was a royal clerk under Nicholas II. Perhaps not the most outstanding position, but the great thing is that the craving for drawing was inherited to me. Well, this is one of the theories that has been voiced. In any case, I drew from early childhood.
The talent for drawing was recognized by everyone, starting from kindergarten. But my parents, a Soviet engineer and an English teacher, decided that painting is something that has no future. And here is mathematics, geometry, etc. ... this is something without which it is impossible to live. Therefore, it was decided not to send to art school. And what could simple laborers know about the future? The country was going through terrible times. 90s, 00s. Work became less and less. Who to be was not clear. I was not particularly asked who I want to be. And I didn’t know what to choose. They just decided for me: You will be an economist. Being an economist is probably great, but what to do when you love to draw from birth? Recently, I decided it was not too late to become who I was born. Moreover, I have something to say.
There is a version that Yuri Ivanovich Pimenov, an artist of the Wanderer, some kind of our distant relative.
