Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. Maryse Renault, an artist practicing drawing and photography, stands out for her ability to capture the very essence of faces, where the expression of the gaze takes on primordial importance and determines everything else. Through her drawings and photographs, she explores the faces of yesterday and today, thus offering a true "story" of the character which reveals itself to those who contemplate them: wealth or poverty, scenes of daily life, portraits of the world...
The vivid emotions, captured through his photographs, inspire his pastels, which come to life under his fingers, impregnating even his fingertips with their essence. For Maryse, color and light are the two essential palettes which irresistibly catch her eye and which she transcribes with talent on paper.
Originally from Orne, Maryse has always been attracted to portraits and began drawing members of her family at the age of 12. She continued her artistic journey by becoming a student at the School of Fine Arts in Caen, in Calvados. His works have already been exhibited several times in the Geneva region, testifying to his artistic talent and his commitment to his art.
