Tina Donovan

I was born in England and resided there for most of my life until 2011 whereby I had moved to Kansas City, USA. I have had a lifelong love for art. One day after my children started school I decided to become a mature student and study for a BA in Fine Art. I did some private tutoring while living in the UK. 

I have exhibited in the UK and in Kansas City. Although due to the pandemic this has slowed having exhibitions down. So in the meantime, I am working on some new paintings and illustrations and making the most of social downtime. Most of my work is inspired by photography, distant memory, literature, landscapes, and present conditions. My work is colorful and surreal on some occasions and abstract on others. I work mainly with oils. I also like for the work to speak for itself rather than explain what it is meant to be about.
