Tato has been a visual artist and photographer since 1992. Through his humanist approach, he attempts to magnify the feminine side of humanity in the hope of balancing the perception of women and the feminine in all its dimensions, but also of shaking up the masculine in its certainties. He tries to break the deleterious codes of patriarchal society to achieve balance. One can read in his work the influence of Man Ray, Klimt and Schiele.

Her work focuses on nudity because under that skin there is a soul, beautiful and complex, and it shines through more clearly when the armor and the imposed artifices are removed, but also because it is time to " to de-Erotize" the female body and to "re-Sacralize" it.

Tato is a former student of the Fine Arts of Lyon and St Etienne, as well as of the photo section of the SEPR of Lyon. His name is Christophe Laborderie dit Tato and he lives and works in Clugnat, France. His work is present in many private collections.
