Sushma Legendre Mcintosh
Sushma had a master degree in International Business and embarked on a career in Marketing before following her artistic interests. This new direction started with interior design at Ecole Boulle in Paris where she first encountered the world of colours. In 1995, she left the Interior Design partnership, she had helped create and started a solitary adventure that would take her through 5 continents… In India, she attended life drawing classes and starts sculpting on clay.
After 5 years of backpacking, she finally settled in Tunis where she experimented with various art techniques and followed several courses and workshops, in particular she attended for 3 years the school of Mustapha Raith. Experimenting with sculpture and ceramic, she finally chose painting as a means to translate the images she has collected on her travels. At the end of 2005, she moved to Tripoli with her husband and set up a new workshop, where she is regularly showing her work… She has regularly been back To India and has worked with a Japanese Master Painter, Meera Hashimoto, using painting as a means of expression and self-exploration, broadening her palette of technique.
Sushma likes to experiment with the world of colours, each time through a mixture of technique and media. She is currently in France since Spring 2009...
