VITA:
Ab 1972 Studium Industrial Design mit dem Schwerpunkt Textildesign an der HfbK Hamburg bei Frau Prof. Margret Hildebrand und Frau Gerda Kock. Anschließend angestellt bei Stuttgarter Gardinenfabrik. Später freie Textildesignerin. Entwürfe und Farbkollektionen für zahlreiche bekannte in- und ausländische Firmen, u.a. Knoll International und Nya Nordiska. Entwicklung eines patentierten Webstoffs. Einsatz unter anderem in exklusiven Serienfahrzeugen der BMW AG. Zahlreiche nationale und internationale Auszeichnungen. Bis heute Partner in einem Unternehmen für Industrial Design (Farb- und Styleberatung) und Familie (2 Kinder). Ab 2012 Erfüllung eines Jungendtraums - Malerei und Fotografie. Steffi Goldrand lebt in Hamburg.
CREDO:
Das große Ganze und die ganz kleinen Dinge. Finsteres Licht und leuchtende Schatten. Farben sehen wo alles grau ist und Bewegung spüren wo Stille herrscht. Schleier, die alles erstrahlen lassen und Licht, das sich wie eine undurchsichtige Decke über die Dinge legt. Frei interpretiert und individuell gestaltet in Form, Farbe und Struktur - für mehr Ausdruck meiner selbst und intensive Empfindungen beim Betrachter.
