Un carrefour du centre ville, désert. Pour illustrer ce paysage urbain, j'ai choisi de cadrer au format horizontal afin de mettre en valeur les lignes de la composition accentuée par la présence de nombreux rectangles blancs qui donnent une sensation de calme, de vide, de froideur. Au premier plan, le feu tricolore est rouge, on est à l'arrêt comme semble l'être le temps à cet instant dans la ville. Il est barré d'un rectangle blanc qui a été rajouté par dessus, orné d'un tag. Dans l'arrière plan, on aperçoit une file de voitures stationnées, rappelant à nouveau l'arrêt du temps déjà suggéré par le rouge du feu. On distingue également trois panneaux de signalisation indiquant l'interdiction, rouges et blancs comme évoqué par le feu rouge barré du rectangle blanc. Les passages piétons renvoient également au rectangle blanc du sens interdit. La faible profondeur de champ appuyée par la ligne de fuite, augmente la sensation de profondeur de l'image, de mystère derrière l'interdit. Avec cette géométrie de la composition on a l'impression qu'aucune issue n'est possible.
Dans ma démarche photographique, j'ai souhaité mettre en avant l'interdit et le temps encore une fois, qui passe, nous bouscule, nous emporte. Les croyances que l'on s'impose, qui nous limitent, nous empêchent trop souvent d'avancer. Dans un moment de répit, on peut toujours reprendre son souffle puis, contourner, prendre une chemin différent qui nous mènera au bon endroit.
