Painter "figuralist" Jean-Claude Sellès Brotons is a recognized painter. Matignon Galleries in Chicago (U.S.A) permanently hosts his paintings. Inspector in an Oil Company, writer, journalist - photographer and talented ornithologist, he finds his full expression in painting.

After some regional successes, during his first participations in competitions, he tries the great adventure and realizes many exhibitions where he obtains a great success. His works are very popular. Lover of nature and animals, he tries to convey the image as he sees it, with its colors that are often warm, like the autumn he appreciates.

Member of the Society of Friends of the Arts of Pau, he exhibits in Chicago (U.S.A) but also at the Museum of Fine Arts in Pau, at the Pavillon des Arts and at the International Fair of Pau as well as in the salons of the Lieutenant du Roy in Navarrenx, among others.
