Born Zurich, 29th November, son of Italians.
1979-1984 Lived in Paris , studied at School of Fine Arts and later became a freelance artist.
1984-1985 Lived in Bologna (Italy), paint in the "ex-Iglesia degli Angeli" receit in Bologna The National Painting Competition award.
1985-1990 Lived in Cadaqués (Spain). Here he was influenced by artists such as Salvador Dali, Man Ray, Marcel Duchamps, etc. During this period, he collaborated with a number of contemporary artists.
1990-1998 Lived and worked between Italy and Venezuela. Traveled to Far East:Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand and Korea, where he studied and absorbed much of the Far Eastern culture.
1998-2004 Lives and works in Cadaqués (Spain), Maracay (Venezuela) and San Colombano (Italy).
2004-2007 Lives and works in Frankfurt, San Colombano and Venezuela.

Wenn Gefühl echt und Traum Wirklichkeit wird
Der in Frankfurt lebende italienische Künstler Roberto Rambaldini präsentiert in seiner aktuellen Ausstellung „Gefühlsecht“ eine ausgewählte Sammlung von Werken. Die Bilder beschreiben betont bleibende Eindrücke des weit gereisten Künstlers.
Statt Gefühlsduselei trifft man in der Galerie textorART auf Bildnisse, die weit mehr als nur ein Gefühlszustand erklären. Es sind Bilder, in denen der Künstler der Kontinuität seiner stetigen Erinnerungen freien Lauf lässt.
Rambaldini ist ein Sammler anhaltender Eindrücke. Bereits als junger Kunststudent reiste der in der Schweiz geborene Sohn einer italienischen Familie aus San Colombano durch den afrikanischen und asiatischen Kontinent. Er lebte mit den Tuareg, durchquerte die Sahara und unternahm Reisen nach Hongkong, Tokio, Seoul und Singapur. Er empfindet das Reisen als Spurensuche und zugleich als Sammlung fortdauernder Augenblicke.
Das lange Wandbild „Afrika“ empfängt den Betrachter mit einem intensiven Farben-und Formspiel. Unweigerlich entsteht eine Ahnung, dass der schwarze Kontinent für den Künstler weit mehr als schillernde Strukturen darstellt. Nachdrückliche Kolorierungen und Muster erinnern an Löwen und Tiger und mittendrin scheinbar die leuchtenden Stoffe der Frauen aus Ghana oder Togo.
Spurensuche bedeutet Bewegung bis hin zum unaufhörlichen Schwingen. Das Bild „Herzflattern“ erinnert an einen Vogelschwarm in Aufruhr. Für Roberto Rambaldini beschreibt es die Rastlosigkeit der Realität.
„Der Gipfel“ hingegen wirkt mit seinem tiefblauen Horizont, der den höchsten Punkt des Berges kraftvoll umschmeichelt, wie ein Ruhepol der ewig fortdauert. Ein Kontrast zur Unruhe der Spurensuche.
Seit 2004 lebt und arbeitet Robert Rambaldini in der Mainmetropole. Mit seiner Ehefrau aus Venezuela und den beiden Kindern pendelte er zuvor zwischen Spanien, Südamerika und seiner italienischen Heimat.
In dem jüngeren Werk „Beckmann im Olivenhain“ verknüpft er seine Frankfurter Geschichte mit dem Expressionisten. Dieser gab noch zu Studienzeiten den Anstoß zu Rambaldinis ersten Reise in seinen heutige Wahlheimat. Das lebendige Bild erinnert im Duktus an den Expressionismus, doch zugleich verweist das satte Grün auf einen vermeintlichen Olivenfleck in Italien. Realität gepaart mit figurativen und traumwandlerischen Elementen animieren den Zuschauer den zusätzlich ausgestellten Werken des Künstlers zu folgen.
