Raims evolution
works presented correspond to a selection of a significant cycle in my artistic life. The year 2002 marks a turning in the choice of materials and the technique. After studies, and some preliminary drawings worked in an intuitive way on the topic of the evolution, paintings as well as the sculptures are carried out in an experimental way and in the continuity of the subject. The paramount one are the events, the possibilities, the knowledge and the connotations out of materials. To transform the reflexion into exploit. More and more close to the source, esthetics disappears, I am erased gradually; "Like a filter, I do not receive the messages and sorts the ideas to keep of it only essence, I am not any more but one intermediary. My capital role remaining the composition, the balance and handling of the fabric." In this cycle, I use the association of the sculpture and painting in order to give a dimension as well as an additional vision to work but also of materials leaving ordinary, like lacquer, fine sand, joinings but also the matter and fire. Creation of the ground to the industrial revolution, I develop the evolution of the man through time, the religion, ethnos group etc. My work requires a very great concentration because I seek a dialogue with the fabric, which leads to a nontraditional painting while remaining very simple. As regards the colors, I work especially with hot grounds and colors. However, it is necessary to keep in mind that all my paintings contain a méditatif element.
