I have started his professional journey in Kolkata and later shifted to Navi Mumbai. Organized several solo shows and have participated in many group exhibitions at various galleries like Rabindra Bhavan, Shridharani Art Gallery, New Delhi , Jehangir and Cymroza Art Gallery in Mumbai , Birla Academy of Art and Culture, Kolkata and Apparao Art Gallery , Chennai. He has also exhibited in London, Ipswich and Washington DC.
“The artist shows his mastery in portraying the simplified human forms with the help of various textures and strokes. The predominant colours are blue, yellow orange and burnt umber. He uses thick layers of blue and orange to create a mystic ambience. His ‘Fishermen’ series reflect the life of costal inhabitants. Singh uses various natural elements in his work and the recurrence of these elements create a dramatic symbolic. The tranquility of The Buddha in his work is remarkable. He also experiments with various mediums like wood and metal. His wood carvings are outstanding as they flawlessly describe the divinity of The Buddha and perseverance of ‘Arjun’. The simple form of fish is also noteworthy.”
