If the parents are professional artists, you have to live in the world of art all your life long. But by the age of 15-17 you should position yourself and decide if you are artist or not.

I dried myself in some other fields and almost became a dentist, a lawyer, an English and Spanish translator , a manager… I entered universities, studied there for some time, then quitted.

It’s very important to take the place of your own in life, not to spoil other’s profession by yourself. I would hardly become a skillful doctor.

Quite recently I’ve graduated the Kuban State University, fine-art faculty. This 10-years period was, probably, the challenge. I just wanted to find out if I’ll be able to perfect myself and improve my skills in my activity. The activity that helps to live.

I have been in art all my life, and I did in it only what I wanted to do.

To create is the most powerful positive emotion for me now. I can hardly compare it with any other ones, it seems I found myself and I love what I do much.

Everything goes away: friendship, love and so. But my work is always with me. And I can do it. Hard. Sincerely. From sunrise till sunset.
