Born in Strasbourg in June 1962, my family roots remain in Poitou Charentes and in particular Deux Sèvres. I have lived near Poitiers since 2009.
If I started in 1998, in a classic way with 7 years at the School of Plastic Arts in Thouars, starting with drawing and its bases, then accessing oil painting then mixed techniques, it was above all the internships that I was able to do with artists whose work I admired which allowed me to find my own style, my deep aspirations, then later my pictorial identity .
Encouraged, sometimes supported, they often became friends with whom I advanced on my artistic path... and human path of course.
It was in 2015, pushed by some, that I had my first solo exhibition "L'echo de soi" at the Rivaud gallery in Poitiers, on the theme of introspection and solitude. A real turning point for me, I have since gone on to personal exhibitions, sometimes collective exhibitions and plastic arts fairs, often receiving awards.
Beyond the landscapes, my stagings, mainly of women, also reflect my work in psychiatry and like many artists, let a small part of me speak, of my history, of my memories, of my lived.
Combining my work in a psychiatric hospital and my artistic work, I was contacted in 2014 by a training organization to teach various techniques and tools so that caregivers could lead workshops therapeutic patients". A transmission rich in experiences and emotions!
Even if my favorite tool remains oil paint to this day for the richness of its pigments, I always experiment with pleasure in various techniques: charcoal, dry and oil pastels, Terre de Cassel, acrylic paint, mixed media, ink, pens, permanent or watercolor markers.... and clay modeling, interesting for its volumes.
Numerous training requests are regularly made to me and push me to organize from spring 2022 in my workshop in Vouillé (86) courses on various themes in small groups, from beginner to advanced level. So what was transmitted to me, what I explored, what I developed can once again be shared, as a kind guide!
