Alain Boissel was born on August 26, 1958 in Cahors (Lot).
Self-taught artist, he developed a passion for drawing in the early 1980s, when he began his career as a professional firefighter . A way for him to blur the daily realities of his job. He began painting in the early 1990s, while perfecting drawing in the free studio of the Académie de La Grande Chaumière (Paris VI).
Originally figurative in inspiration , Alain Boissel has been directing his artistic approach towards abstraction since 2014. His compositions are emotional journeys. Free, warm, radiant, color is here in everything, sublimating the expression of the material and allowing us to see and imagine…
