"Nací en santo Domingo, capital de la República Dominicana, creci en la casa de mi abuela en San Juan de la maguana. san Juan se encuentra en el entrotierra de republica dominicana, alli, la sensacion de la cercania del África era fuerte por cultura y costumbres, mi abuela era una Comadrona de pais, sabia muchas historias, u a parte de esto fue una santera, ella era una Mediun con los espíritus. Crecí rodeada de un mundo rico de historias que se contaban a la luz de una vela que a los ojos de una niña era un mundo mágico. en esos territorios; ya pequeña cada uno tenía un trabajo específico que hacer y esta experiencia me ha enseñado mucho. Con el arte se abrieron las puertas de mi mundo interno, donde las imágenes narrativas, colores, recuerdos de animales, personas y cosas surgen de este espacio irreal. América del Sur tierra de Garcia Marchez García, Isabel Allendes etc.
