Pearse James Gilmore Irish born Magical realist Contemporary artist working from his atelier in southern France. He attended Art college learned to paint and sculpt, unlearned to paint left and relearned to paint over a 30 year period, His eclectic work spans many different genres and he is constantly exploring new subjects and styles. initially influenced by Goya Dali and Magritte, later Kandinsky Chagall and French Impressionists, becoming a kind of magical expressionist himself or closer to his love of magical realist writing a magical realist.
