Attention!

Inspired by master glassmakers, I design my paintings like stained glass windows.
I break down light, shapes and colours into constant spaces that I transfer to a sheet of plywood.
Then, I cut out all the parts thus drawn, with a jigsaw.
I glue everything back together and in order, on another sheet of plywood, a bit like a puzzle.
I fill all the joints with plaster (these are the white lines visible on my paintings).
Then I paint all these spaces using full shades and avoiding, as much as possible, gradients and fades and half-tones.
A bit like in a stained glass window where you assemble pieces of glass of different colours and shapes.
I think I am the only one to use this technique which offers multiple advantages, such as robustness, durability and especially the possibility of change the colors and shades, space by space, without having to redo or overload the painting.
All the white lines, clearly visible, bring more life and strength to the representations; something impossible to achieve on a canvas.
For several years, the press and the media have praised my work during the many exhibitions that I have held in Brittany. Just type my first and last names on the search engines to access many comments.
