Patrick NEVOSO was born in the department of Puy-de-Dôme in Auzat-sur-Allier in 1949, more precisely in what was called the mining town of Combelle, on the plateau dominating the left bank of the Allier river.

One summer day, while he was with his friends on the banks of the Allagnon river, he saw a small crowd near a young man busy painting the "castle of Job" located on the other bank. Captivated by the beauty of the site and the work of the painter, he goes back home, takes a book, some gouache and begins to paint on a sheet of Canson paper. This passion will never leave him.

In 1975 he enrolled at the ABC School in Paris, to follow correspondence courses. His reference was the painter Georges Pacouil.  He will rely on the valuable teachings of the school, to execute oil canvases, numerous gouaches, and also practicing different techniques: compositions with rubber granulates in acrylic resin, working on "Kraft" paper and marouflage, executions on slates, making stencils and collages, sculptures in driftwood...he glues his own canvases and sometimes makes his own paint.

First exhibition in 1975 : Salon de l'Amicale des artistes du CE Michelin in Clermont-Ferrand presents two gouaches. An order.

In 2002 exhibited four paintings during his first National exhibition in Billom (Puy de dôme ) .

July 2019: A painting and a sculpture presented on the virtual exhibition site LAB.MALAMEGI Rome ITALY

Patrick is a contemplative, nature fan, ardent defender of a healthy Planet where life would be good, his painting attempts to reproduce an idealistic universe through his landscapes, a return to healthy human values devoid of profits for profit's sake.

In practice oil painting, he rather uses warm solid tones, sometimes enhanced with lines drawn with a knife, notably in the essays on the canvases of the "Colors of the Solar Spectrum" series. The landscapes are painted in a more classic way, with a more precise touch sometimes reminiscent of an impressionist style.

Lovers of art in general, The meeting with FRANCOIS-NOËL MARTIN famous collagist and Jean-Claude MARQUER designer, painter - decorator in Billom, will open up other artistic perspectives for him. Friend of Françoise ROBINE and the late DENIS CHERET with whom the exchanges will be fruitful. Daniel PARAYRE, who directs the Atelier du Cendre, will give it good momentum from 2008.
