Artiste peintre, plasticienne.

Graphiste de métier, Nokat s’ouvre très tôt aux nouvelles technologies avec une prédilection pour le Web Design.
De son père peintre elle a hérité d’une passion qui l’amène à peindre à l’huile depuis son adolescence. En 2012, elle prend la décision de ne se consacrer plus qu’à la peinture.

Urbaine, Nokat puise ses matières premières dans la rue, les marchés aux puces et les lieux où les objets, les livres, les revues et les affiches surannées tentent de se réinventer une nouvelle vie.

Contemporaine, elle projette dans ses tableaux derrière un monde ultra coloré, les questionnements d’une société bousculée et en plein changement de paradigme. Marianne, Cécil le lion, Ziggy, elle aborde les thèmes de la Popculture et de l'actualités parfois sombres, mêlant couleurs, logos, images...

Humaine, franche et directe, on retrouve tout son caractère dans sa série de portraits – qu’elle peint toujours de face ! – où elle capture dans le regard toute l’humanité du modèle.

Geek, elle construit sa démarche en intégrant les technologies du numérique pour concevoir ses créations et élaborer des tableaux aux couleurs éclatantes, aux tracés impeccables avec un sens du cadre et de l’équilibre pictural. Sa dernière oeuvre "Astronaute" a été confectionnée avec son amie plasticienne Marjorie Hérrer, composée de tissu et d'origamis plastique cousus.

Curieuse : Elle utilise l’acrylique, les collages, les mélanges de vernis, les peintures fluos et les sprays pour faire constamment évoluer son travail

Attachante et heureuse : On ne se lasse pas de son travail empreint de joyeuse poésie acidulée. Nokat, un vrai bonheur artistique !

In english : Graphic designer by trade, Nokat opens up to new technologies very early in her career. She then becomes a webmaster with a predilection for web designing.

From her father she inherited a passion which led her to oil painting since her teenage years.

In 2012 she decided to devote herself exclusively to painting.

An urban girl, Nokat finds her raw material in the street, in flea markets and places where old-fashioned objects, books, magazines and posters try and reinvent a new life to themselves.

A modern artist, she casts into her highly colored paintings all the questions arising from a disrupted society whose paradigm is changing. Fukushima, 9/11, Big Brother, digital traceability of individuals… She sometimes tackles dark topical issues evoked through antagonistic compositions mixing colors, logos, images…

Truly humane, frank and straightforward, her whole character can be found in her series of full-frontal portraits in which her models' humanity is captured in their eyes.

Curious by nature, she uses acrylic paint, collages, varnish mixtures, fluo paints or even spray paint to constantly get her work to evolve.

Digital native, she builds her approach by integrating digital technologies so as to conceive her creations and elaborate her brightly colored paintings which reveal faultless lines as well as a sense of composition and pictorial balance.

With a wealth of experience in digital technologies, Nokat artfully uses the Internet and social networks. On Facebook over 25,000 followers like her, comment on her posts and share with her.
