Mirou Navalon is a contemporary French artist known for her vibrant and modern approach to painting. She earned an international diploma from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, where she was inspired by Andy Warhol. Her fascination with Warhol led her to write her thesis on his work and subsequently move to New York to live with him for a period.
After her time in New York, Navalon returned to Europe, where she began focusing on capturing movement in sports. Her work is deeply influenced by rock'n'roll and American pop art, characterized by large acrylic canvases that feature bold, sometimes intense tones. Her distinctive use of shades of green and blue is particularly noted.
While she regularly travels to the United States, Navalon currently resides in France, where she balances her artistic career with her passion for horses, participating in show jumping competitions.
