"Imaginons une personne en état d’ivresse voulant regarder au loin. Pour ce faire, il se saisit d’un objet cylindrique lui faisant penser à une longue vue et regarde par sa petite extrémité. Mais au lieu d’un paysage, l’horizon est fait de courbes tourbillonnantes et de lumières enivrantes. N’y tenant plus, il éloigne de son oeil l’objet déformant, se rendant compte qu’il tient une bouteille de vin. Surpris et amusé, dans un élan maladroit, il la dirige alors vers sa bouche pour en boire le contenu qui n’y est plus !"

Mikee's artistic universe gravitates around many worlds punctuated by a desire to share the sensitive and the beauty of matter. As a child, the artist already enjoyed painting and drawing, but it was during a sleepless night, after a romantic breakup, that he began developing his current technique. An exploratory expression on chipboard through which he will explore several symbols, including fire, wine, magma, and even the galactic theme.
Ideas flow and the artist tries to capture them in an art cradled by his love of architecture and materials. His curiosity pushes him to let himself be tempted by many expressions… A surprising and sensory technique, that of reflective material. The support is covered in light and the works are imbued with joy. The medium vibrates, it changes and his work is suspended between fusion and destruction. It is in this controlled duality that the creator finds his balance and his way. So, he sculpts, burns, superimposes, shreds and lets his sensitive genius guide him in each exploration.
Mikee then becomes an explorer, an empathetic interpreter who, through a play of mirrors, draws our gaze to what surrounds us and punctuates our daily lives. Binarity is everywhere, it is expressive and a blur invades the era. In this notion of spectacle that engraves the sensitive in the timeless, he bears witness to the era, to its anxiety and invites us to reconnect with what is essential. This is where sharing becomes a universal and benevolent language.
