Marzena Czaniecka

Born 1983, Poland. Education at The University of Arts in Poznan. Trained skills workshop at the prof. Janina Wierusz-Kowalska studio. Studied painting in prof. Wojciech Lazarczyk studio. She evolved from painting in to combine different disciplines of arts. Her master thesis called „Be-longing” was first instalation using biotechnology in Poland. She was received a scholarship at the University of Art in 2011. Her art works were part of few important exhibitions, among others Miroslaw Balka's PDP Studio in Poznan and 14th Media Art Biennale WRO 2012 Alternativ Now in Wroclaw.

In 2013, she created the set design for the play Ewelina Marciniak "Mission" and "Gaugan" in 2014. She still collaborates with theaters in Poland.
In the meantime conducts workshops about painting. And creates its own specific, surrealistic images.
